LEARNING WITH LAPTOP PROGRAM ON HOLD
A MESSAGE FROM THE LADERA RANCH PRINCIPALS

“Due to the problems that we have had with our laptop program this year, this vital program is on hold. The Ladera Ranch Principals all feel that this is a worthwhile program so we will continue it, but we have so many upgrades to make that we can’t promise a pristine program at this point for our students. Each of the schools in Ladera has a substantial amount of money to raise in order to make the needed upgrades, and the Ladera Ranch Education Foundation has agreed to help. This weekend at the Taste of Ladera, they will be raising funds to help upgrade each school’s network. Please stop by the silent auction put on by the Taste of Ladera and help raise money for our wonderful laptop program.
In the meantime, if your child already has a laptop, we will continue to use them as best we can. If they don’t have one yet, please do not purchase one until we can assure you that we have made the proper upgrades and our program is once again up and running. Stay tuned.”
Our schools need to raise $140,000 by July 4, 2010 to continue the Laptop Program and make it available for incoming 3rd graders this fall.
